Project Overview
Möt Studios, a fitness boutique located on Corso Como in Milan, opened in 2017 and approached PurpleSoft later that year, becoming our first client. We initiated the development of their website with an integrated booking system designed to manage exclusive Pilates, barre, yoga and other classes.
In subsequent years, the system was improved to meet the evolving needs of the business. In 2023, in anticipation of expansion with a new location, Mot Studios entrusted us with a complete website redesign and management upgrade, with the goal of centralizing location management and presenting an even more modern and appealing image on the web.
UX/UI Design
The design process for Möt Studios’ new website began with a thorough analysis of the client’s needs and target audience. The main goal was to modernize the image of the website, making it visually appealing, minimalist, and in line with the boutique fitness world, while maintaining high ease of navigation. The entire process was driven by the desire to provide asmooth and intuitive user experience that reflected the high quality of services offered on site by Möt Studios.
For the design of the web app, we focused on simplifying the process for users to register and book classes, taking care of every detail to ensure a positive and immediate experience for users. The choice of a modern and minimalist interface was essential to best represent the brand and its exclusivity. The clear structure and color palette were designed to enhance ease of use and reinforce the visual identity of Möt Studios.
In parallel, the management system intended for staff was designed with a focus on operational efficiency. The goal was to facilitate the management of the class calendar and user reservations, minimizing the time needed to organize activities. An intuitive interface made staff work more immediate, improving productivity and ensuring smooth management, even with the increased complexity associated with managing multiple locations.
Every design decision, from UX to UI, was guided by the need to create a balance between aesthetics and functionality. The end result is a system that reflects Möt Studios’ level of excellence, providing aconsistent, high-quality experience for both clients and the internal team.
Web App Development
A web app was developed for the booking section using Angular 18, designed to offer users asmooth and intuitive experience. The new platform retains all previous functionality and introduces enhancements that address new customer needs, including a complete redesign of class and credit management. This has made the system more scalable and performant, ensuring easy navigation even with an increasing number of users and courses available.
From the web app, clients have access to anintuitive interface that allows them to view the class calendar, book classes and purchase credit packages. Purchased credits are automatically credited to the personal wallet, which can be accessed from the private area, allowing easy and immediate control over the remaining amount and any expiration dates.
Also within the restricted area, users can easily manage their reservations, leave feedback on classes and teachers, and view detailed graphical reports related to their physical activity. The web app is designed with a modern, minimalist design that reflects the visual identity of the website and integrates seamlessly with it.
The main goal was to make the entire online experience fast and satisfying, thanks to these improvements, users can enjoy a high-performance booking system that combines ease of use, speed, and attractive design, helping to strengthen the overall brand experience.
Management Development
The management system includes an advanced back-office, developed in ASP.NET Core, designed to simplify staff operational management. Through this panel, staff have the ability to configure and update disciplines offered, create and track credit packages for users, manage personal trainer profiles, and schedule class schedules. In addition, the system allows the administration of customized discount codes and centralized management of reservations made by clients.
The back-office also provides advanced analytical tools to monitor every aspect of the business. Staff can consult detailed data on class attendance, customer preferences in terms of disciplines, time slots, and personal trainers, as well as obtain statistics on user behavior, such as amounts spent, remaining credits, and number of admissions.
Through integration with Microsoft Power BI, this information is transformed into customized, interactive reports that are easy to access and useful for making strategic decisions based on hard data. The management system thus ensures not only superior operational efficiency, but also provides crucial strategic support for business growth, adapting perfectly to the evolving needs of Möt Studios.
Results
With the newly developed solution, Möt Studios achieved a high-performance system that significantly improved operational efficiency and user experience. The web app simplified the booking and management process for customers, while the back-office provided staff with advanced tools to monitor and optimize activity. Integration with Power BI enabled in-depth data analysis, supporting strategic decisions and facilitating scalable and sustainable business growth.
